What is Invisalign® Treatment?

Invisalign® treatment gradually straightens your teeth by wearing a series of clear, removable aligners. Unlike traditional orthodontics, there are no brackets, wires, or restrictions. The aligners are made of a patented material called SmartTrack® created exclusively for Invisalign® treatment. The material is FDA-approved and contains no BPA, BPS, Latex, or gluten. The are clear, thing and fit snuggly over your teeth, making them virtually invisible.

Invisalign® Treatment in 3 Easy Steps

Step 1 Consultation with Dr. Wynatte Chu
At the initial consultation, Dr. Wynatte Chu will discuss your smile goals. Using digital imaging and Impression, she will be able to develop a custom treatment plan for you.
Step 2 Start Your Smile Transformation
From the first aligners, your journey begins. Dr. Chu will assure the aligners fit well and answer any questions you may have. Each set of aligners is worn 20-22 hours per day, changing them every 1 to 2 weeks, as directed by Dr. Chu’s custom plan. They are only removed to eat and drink. Each set of aligners will gently and gradually shift your teeth into place, according to your custom treatment plan, until you have reached you beautiful new smile.
Depending on the complexity of your treatment plan, a beautiful smile can be achieved in as little as 6 months. Every 6-8 weeks, Dr. Chu will schedule a check-in appointment to evaluate the progress and give you the next batch of aligners in your treatment.
Step 3 Keeping Your Brand New Smile
For lasting results, you will be fitted with Vivera® retainers that you will wear while sleeping. There retainers are custom made according to your Invisalign® treatment plan and are 30% stronger than other retainers.
